It's not like I'm particularly careless or rough with my earphones, but I seem to get through a set every three months. The wiring frays and the sound only comes out of one ear, or the jack wrenches out like this... They're about £80 each! I'm fed up with expensive earphones -- only cheap ones for me from now on. I'm willing to sacrifice the sound quality until Sennheiser can invent some earphones that don't crumble to dust as soon as you press 'play' on your mp3 player.
