Shop Dummies

A security guard immediately came and told me off for taking this picture and I couldn't explain to him why I thought it was a remarkable image. It'd struck me as odd that they'd display all these naked 'children' in a shop window, but then why shouldn't they? Bronze fibreglass headless children are a bit of a niche interest even if you're that way inclined.

Gigi and I spent a weekend in Stratford-upon-Avon. On Saturday, we saw the RSC's production of Hamlet in the afternoon, had a cream tea and then saw The Taming of the Shrew.
Because there was nothing on at the theatre on Sunday, we hired bikes and cycled around the surrounding area. We were aiming for Compton Verney but it was too far and we were too rained on to get that far; so we just stopped at Walton Hall and had sandwiches before cycling back to the station. We hired the bikes from Stratford Bike Hire, who were really friendly, helpful and reasonably-priced.
